The jury for the 28th edition of the Inffinito Brazilian Film Festival is composed of:

 

RICARDO CHREEM
Director and Producer
Ricardo Chreem is an award-winning director and a multi-talented artist, through the years he has established himself as a creative storyteller who is well versed in different film genres not only in his hometown Rio de Janeiro but also in the international film market. His films have won many awards including official selection at different Film festivals around the world.

Chreem is an actor, screenwriter, and multimedia artist who has performed various performances and urban interventions. He holds degrees in Film from MetFilm School in London, NY Film School in New York, and Cascais School of Art & Design in Portugal.

 

 

RICHARD SANSONE
Professor Valencia College
Professor Richard Sansone teaches at Valencia College in Orlando where he developed the Portuguese language curriculum for the college and community over 30 years ago through a Title VI grant aimed at internationalizing the curriculum. Professor Sansone has shared his love for Brazil and Brazilian culture with Valencia students through visiting artists, musicians, and film, creating and implementing Valencia’s own Brazilian Film Festival where for eight years he screened current Brazilian feature-length films that were moderated by visiting Brazilian filmmakers. Professor Sansone appreciates the power of cinema to communicate and considers films to be the literature of our day. He has created courses using Brazilian cinema as a basis for understanding both the richness and diversity of Brazilian culture and the complexity of contemporary Portuguese.

 

 

TANIA KHALLIL
Actress 
Tania Khallil, in addition to her role as co-creator of the Grandes Pequeninos project, is a highly regarded and accomplished Brazilian actress. Ms. Khallil began her artistic career as a teenager, dancing with the "Companhia Paulista de Dança" and then completing an exchange program with the respected "Ballet Nacional de Cuba." Her career as an actress commenced with her involvement in several notable advertising campaigns. Following years of training in the performing arts at some of Brazil's most esteemed institutions, she made her debut in 2003 with a role in a Rede Globo soap opera, one of Brazil's largest and most prominent television networks. Tania has appeared in numerous successful Globo productions, including several that have been nominated for and have won the Emmy Awards. Ms. Khallil has extensive experience in the theatrical field, having starred in internationally acclaimed plays. Most recently, in an episode of the American HBO series "Mrs. Fletcher," starring alongside experienced American actress Kathryn Hanh.

 

 

VIVIAN MARTHEL
Co-Founder and CEO/CCO at O Cinema
Vivian Marthell is an artist, activist, exhibitor and producer with over 30 years of experience in the arts and nonprofit realms focused on strengthening the cultural landscape in South Florida and beyond. She is currently the Co-Founder and CEO/CCO at O Cinema, the hub for the next generation of storytelling in South Florida which includes experimental and independent films, virtual reality, mixed reality, and immersive experiences. Marthell has stayed true to her creative North Star, shedding light on Miami’s uniqueness and potential for creative reinvention. 

 

 

WILMA MACIEL
Development and Production Director, NBC Universal Latin America
Currently, the Development and Production Director for NBC Universal Latin America, Wilma Maciel has spent over 20 years in the entertainment industry. Throughout her career, she has contributed her vast content knowledge to various cable television networks in Latin America, including Warner Channel, Sony and Discovery, where she has held senior positions in programming, operations and production.
